Applegreen Project | Bringing Dead Space In Store to Life

Jim Feehan – Retail Graduate at Applegreen goes over his experience with Bordertown and shares why they trust us for their display needs.

Brief Overview

We wanted something that would look after all our customers and what we found in common is they all want a quick bottle of water. Having this end solution meant they could grab a bottle of water and get back on their way, without having to visit our convenience store. The website was great, it was extremely user friendly. I submitted a contact form and within 2 hours Bordertown was in touch and eager to learn how we could work together. We got a proposal back and from there is was looking at how we could roll it out to all our stores – what could be the end product. We did a test in a pilot store and found straight away that customers were willing to use it and interact with it.

“A 10 out of 10. They were effectively dead spaces prior to us getting the racks in place and spaces that were missing out on potential sales opportunities. Now with the rack, we’ve brought those areas of the travel plazas to life a bit more effectively.”

Results

It was great that you were a one stop shop for everything – you provided us with the rack, the custom credit card terminal box, marketing and signage. We had a tight deadline and you were great in facilitating that – the communication was seamless.
